Come Early to Reflect to Enjoy Bean and Build Coffee

If you haven't gotten your tickets for Reflect, don't forget you can get them online at http://www.reflectconference.org/ or at either Crossroads campus during service times. 

Doors will open ONE HOUR before the conference begins and the Bean and Build Coffee shop will be serving drip coffee and a snack for a donation to cover the costs.  Please bring cash to donate if you plan to enjoy some of these goodies!

So....arrive anytime 6:00 pm or after to enjoy coffee and a sweet snack and get ready for the amazing conference to begin at 7.  On Saturday, doors will open at 8 am for a breakfast snack and coffee and teaching will begin at 9.

New Thursday NIGHT Ladies Study

Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith is a Beth Moore Bible study based on Isaiah 43:10. This study will focus on the lives of Abraham, Moses and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of persons who believed God.”

Join Wendy Smith and Lisa Harvey as they lead this Bible Study for Women on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm at Hwy 154, room 110.

Women's Softball Sign Up NOW

Click on the link above to go to the Crossroads site (or go to http://www.crossroadsnewnan.org/ and click on Adult Softball Registration).    There will be teams for both the novice player and experienced. Cost is $45 for Ladies that have a jersey from last year and $65 for all new players. There are FAQ's there also. Registration is open now & closes February 8th. There are information cards at the Information counters at both campuses also!

This weekend our pastor used a sermon illustration about a couple that got married. Instead of this couple having a reception they totaled the cost of what the reception would have cost and used that money to buy food for those in need. This was a very neat and selfless gift this couple gave to others what could have been theirs. Would you be so willing to give up something like that?

As a mom you want to be an example for others especially your children to follow. The old saying more is "caught than taught." My 5 year old celebrates his birthday this week. He asked me if we could make cupcakes to take to his friends at school to share with them. This is his last year at home with me so his friends at school are the teachers and staff that talk to him on a regular basis. "Wow!," I thought. Absolutely, we can do that. Then it got me to thinking he must be taking note and noticing that serving others is very important. I am also reminded of what the Bible teaches us. ....”Jesus came to serve others not to be served.” (Matt. 20:2). “If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised and receive the glory.” (1 Pet. 4:11). Whoever claims to walk in him must walk as Jesus walked.” (1 John 2:6).
